In the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in Belgium on a unified platform showcased varying trends in downloads and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a notable fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 38.5K during the week of August 5. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained robust, starting at approximately 1.8M and experiencing slight variations but maintaining a strong presence throughout the quarter.

Polarsteps - Trip Planner also demonstrated interesting trends. Downloads saw a significant increase in early September, reaching 17.8K, while weekly active users exhibited a growth trend, peaking at 83.1K in the same period.

Google Maps Go maintained a relatively stable download rate, hovering around 11K to 12K throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users slightly decreased from around 1.86M at the beginning of July to approximately 1.81M by the end of September.

RouteYou - walking and cycling experienced a fluctuating download pattern, with a notable peak of 10.4K in the week of August 19. The app generated modest revenue, peaking at around $231 in early September.
